So for the past three months, I have been studying for the bar exam.  This exam is no joke.  12 hours per day of studying equates to roughly zero life.  By the time I took this test, I was ready to stab out my eyeballs.  So, first, my sincere apologies to anyone who tried to get into contact with me during this period of time.  As much as I love blogging and making blogging friends, I kinda wanna pass my bar exam.  Don’t worry, I still love you even if I am incognito. xoxo

But, seriously, I have this huuuuuge to-do list now.

You can kind of see part of the to-do list on the right-hand side. Welp, my to-do list does not stop there.  I completed a total of six pages of to-dos that I need to get done.

I was joking around with some of my law school friends that the thing that I was most looking forward to doing is cutting coupons and grocery shopping.  So one of the first layouts that I had to make was a grocery shopping layout.

As you can see, I like boxes and clean lines.  Mostly, this is because I can use a ruler.  After I took the picture on the right-hand side with my shopping list on the sticky, I drew up a weekly block.

2. I’ve been tracking my own sleep schedule, although not as formal as this layout.

My sleep log is shaping up nicely so far! Sometimes the simple act of tracking can force me to change my habits for the better and I LOVE that! – There’s something about knowing I’ll be disappointed in myself for lack of sleep on my tracker that motivates me to actually go to bed and wake up at my preferred time. 3. I like flowers, too. I don’t use a monthly calendar just because I have all my scheduled items in Google Calendar, but I really like the simplicity of this page.

And at long last- the start of my August spread. Do you have any fun planned? I wanna hear about it! . . . #bujolove #bulletjournal #bulletjournalling #bujonewbie #bujo #bujoinspire #bujojunkie #bujodesign #bulletjournals #journal #journaladdict #bulletjournalnewbie #bulletjournaljunkie #book #lettering #letteringnewbie #handlettering #handletteringnewbie #bulletjournallove #showmeyourplanner #bujocommunity #bulletjournalcommunity #lefty #leftywriting #staedtler #planning #planwithme #monthlyspread #august

9. This person uses her bullet journal for morning self-development. I’ve been adding some daily thoughts at the end of my day, but they have all been random things like when I get up and gym accomplishments. I might try more self-reflection.

“Love the life you have while you create the life of your dreams. Don’t think you have to wait for the latter to do the former.” – Hal Elrod . . I’m so glad I discovered the #miraclemorning I’ve always been a morning person and it’s great to make use of the quiet time at the beginning of the day for self development. Today I started listening to You Are a Badass at Making Money by @jensincero I am loving it so far!! 10. My daughter and I have been doing a Wreck This Journal together, and I love the use of watercolor paints to add some pizzazz. Here’s a bullet journal take on it.

Catching up with #llleverydamnday challenge hosted by @llamaletters ! Still learning to use the inks but i’m pretty happy on how it came up. Still focusing on basic brush lettering because i need to practice it 😉 #bulletjournal #plannercommunity #plannergirl #llamas #llamaslovelettering #lettering #bujo #notes #studygram #studyinspo #planner #pgw #plannersgonewild #distressinks #distressinksminis

12. I love this monthly doodle calendar.

?My doodles from July. Often I painted something that I remembered from the day.
Who is the image of 8.7. not recognizes; It is a caterpillar in the cauliflower ? As a beginner, I am, of course, mega-critical with my works.
Do you already have a favorite? If so, write it to me in the comments ?

13. Holy crap this girl is organized.

I started bullet journaling this spring when I was taking 15 premed credits, tutoring on weekends & generally feeling like I was losing my mind. It was a super soothing way to organize my time and outline goals (and a good excuse to buy fancy pens and stickers.) I took a break during July, but am back at it for August! Posting a few spreads to get back in the mood. Here was June-at-a-glance, with a daily goal tracker, monthly tasks, and weekly schedule. Do you bujo???? Love this! I am also taking the bar course (in England, I suspect yours is in America?) in addition to working part-time, volunteering, caring for my one year old daughter and somehow eating and sleeping too! Creating the bullet journal was my way of taking back some control and being able to track what I’m doing with my life!
